Tastynation Global (EUID ELGEMI 195690906000) is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at tastynationglobal@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address, and the name you choose to provide, so we can create and secure your account.
- Access data — which recipes you opened and when, strictly to enforce the free allowance of two recipes per seven days.
- Membership and subscription data — whether a membership code was activated and the status of any subscription. Card details are never seen or stored by us.
- Security data — a shortened, truncated form of your IP address and coarse request metadata, used only to detect abuse and protect the service.
- Cookie choices — your consent decision, stored so we do not ask again.
Why we process it (legal bases)
- Performance of a contract — providing your account, membership and subscription.
- Legitimate interests — preventing abuse, fraud and unauthorised access.
- Consent — optional analytics cookies, which you may refuse or withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — retaining billing records where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists. Recipe access records and security logs are retained only as long as needed for quota enforcement and abuse prevention, and are then purged automatically. Deleting your account removes your profile, membership and usage history.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share the minimum necessary with our hosting and database provider and our PCI-compliant payment provider, each acting as a processor under contract.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. You can delete your account and data yourself from My Account, or write to us and we will respond within one month.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep you signed in and secure the site; they cannot be switched off. Optional cookies are only set after you accept them. See our Cookie Policy.
Security
Access to recipes, memberships and administration is authorised on our servers, never in your browser. Membership codes are stored only as salted hashes, passwords are managed by our authentication provider, and all traffic is encrypted in transit.
