Gorna Oryahovitsa Is Ready to Become the Gastronomic Capital of the Balkans

Following the completion of the final working meetings between the Municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa and Tastynation Global, preparations for the major international gastronomic event have entered their final stage.

All organizational, technical and operational details have been finalized, ensuring that from 2–4 October 2026 the city will host one of the most significant international gastronomic gatherings in the Balkans.

Gorna Oryahovitsa will welcome renowned chefs, international culinary ambassadors, educators and distinguished personalities from the global gastronomic community, who will present the culinary heritage of their countries through authentic recipes, exceptional local products and traditional cooking techniques.

The event is far more than a food festival. It is a platform for cultural diplomacy, knowledge exchange and international cooperation, where every dish tells the story of a nation and every participant helps build new bridges between cultures.
