French Gastronomic Heritage in the Spotlight at the 80th Foire de Châlons
Gastronomy, tradition and cultural heritage came together at the 80th Foire de Châlons, an important event held in Châlons-en-Champagne, France, from 28 August to 7 September 2026.
Chef Éric Devert, National President of Tastynation Global – France, took an active part in the event through the activities of the Fédération des Confréries des Régions de France (FCRF).
At the Federation’s stand, visitors had the opportunity to discover and experience characteristic elements of French gastronomic identity, including wines, beers, cheeses, game, local products and regional specialties.
Tastings and encounters with the public highlighted the importance of preserving, promoting and passing on regional culinary heritage to future generations.
Éric Devert’s presence, both as an active representative of the French gastronomic community and as National President of Tastynation Global – France, also represented an indirect presence of the Tastynation Global international network at an event reflecting values closely aligned with the organization’s philosophy: tradition, culture, local gastronomy, authentic products and bringing people together through food.
The 80th Foire de Châlons provided an important platform for showcasing regional products, producers, culinary traditions and the rich gastronomic heritage of France.
Tastynation Global warmly congratulates Chef Éric Devert for his active presence and his continued contribution to the promotion of French gastronomy, regional traditions and culinary cultural heritage.
Through the work and international presence of its National Presidents and representatives, Tastynation Global continues to build bridges between countries, culinary cultures and people around the world.
